Old dutch master stuffed mushrooms
Party-perfect appetizer or simple side dish, made by stuffing mushrooms to the brim with super tasty cheese
1 lb baby bella mushrooms, cleaned, dried, stems removed
3 oz Frico Old Dutch Master cheese, shredded (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a large baking pan with olive oil.
Prepare the mushroom caps by washing and drying the mushrooms. Remove the stems.
In a large bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
Stuff each mushroom cap with the stuffing mixture (you will need ~1 teaspoon to ~1 tablespoon per mushroom cap, depending on the size of the mushroom).
Place on the baking pan and bake at 375°F for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the mushrooms are cooked. Serve warm.
